Baked sole

This is a short and simple way to cook fillets of the fish known as sole, although I guess it would probably hold for most types of fish.

You may find it a bit boring without a sauce - that's up to you, but it's actually pretty tasty without one.

Ingredients

  • Fresh fillets of sole
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice

Implements

  • Oven

Directions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to about 200 degrees
  2. Put the foil onto the baking sheet, and put the fillets of sole on top.
  3. Sprinkle the salt, pepper, olive oil and lemon juice onto the sole.
  4. Put it into the oven for 8 to 10 minutes, until the fish is white and flaky throughout.

That was easy, wasn't it! Serve with potato or chips and something green.
